ABOUT JESS ROOME CHIROPRACTIC
I practise using the Bio-Psycho-Social Model. The 3 parts of the model are linked and account for the many factors that can contribute to your pain experience.
The 'Bio' determines any biological factors that may be contributing to your pain e.g. swelling following an injury.
The 'Psycho' understands any psychological factors e.g any fears or beliefs you may have about your pain.
As part of the 'Social' element, we will discuss any impacts on your daily activities including: family, work and hobbies.
We will also discuss how these elements interconnect as part of your pain experience. Once we have an overall picture, we will discuss a plan going forward- including whether or not it is appropriate to refer you to another healthcare professional.
